The Calhoun School, a progressive Pre-K through 12th grade institution in New York City, seeks an experienced, collaborative, and innovative systems thinker to serve as its next Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging. Reporting directly to the Head of School, Celeste Herrera, the Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging is an essential member of the senior leadership team and one of the few roles that engages across all grades and divisions. The Dean will serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on practitioner, charged with creating a more integrated and holistic approach that builds bridges across different constituencies. Working in partnership with students, faculty, parents, and alumni, the Dean will engage the community through curriculum integration, established affinity groups, professional development, and parent and alumni partnerships. Having a strong affinity for working with students is vital in the Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging. Salary Range: $175,000–$215,000.
