Job Description
The Pegasus School, a PreK-Grade 8 independent school in Huntington Beach, California seeks a Lower School Director to start July 1, 2025. Founded in 1964 by Dr. Laura Hathaway, the school currently enrolls 595 students in the Lower and Middle School divisions. The Lower School (grades pre-K through 5) includes 415 students and approximately 40 faculty members and 23 teaching assistants.
The Lower School Director plays a critical role in the mission of the Lower School to facilitate student success academically, socially, and emotionally. The Director serves on the school's leadership team, reports to the Associate Head of School, and works collaboratively with all school administrators to advance the institution.
