Educators Collaborative is honored to partner with The French American School of Puget Sound in the search for a newly-created position, Assistant Head of School.
About the school
Founded in 1995, The French American School of Puget Sound (FASPS) has been a pioneer in providing a unique bilingual learning experience that integrates the best of both the French and American educational systems. Serving students from 18 months through Middle School, FASPS' commitment to fostering the next generation of global citizens is reflected in its harmonized bilingual program, where students not only achieve fluency in French and English but also gain a profound understanding of and appreciation for diverse cultures. At FASPS, bilingualism is not just an advantage but a norm in many countries, providing economic, cognitive, health, social, and cultural benefits. FASPS' approach to bilingual education begins at an early age, with students as young as 18 months old welcomed into a nurturing and stimulating environment that sets the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Thirty years after its founding, The French American School of Puget Sound (FASPS) is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the establishment of a brand-new campus in Seattle. The overwhelming success and popularity of the FASPS program have necessitated expansion beyond the current Mercer Island location, prompting the creation of multiple hubs to cater to the diverse and growing community.
The newly created position of Assistant Head of School will participate in an exciting period of physical and programmatic growth as the school explores the possibility of growing to include high school and adopting the IB program.
