Job Description
Francis Parker School, a prestigious JK–12 independent school in San Diego, CA, is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to serve as its next Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). Grounded in the enduring philosophy of Colonel Francis W. Parker, the school is deeply committed to fostering a community where all students thrive intellectually and emotionally through a profound sense of belonging. This role presents a unique opportunity to support and advance Parker’s DEIB initiatives, seamlessly integrating equity and belonging into every aspect of the school’s culture, curriculum, and community engagement. Reporting to the Assistant Head of School and collaborating with the Head of School, Parker Leadership Team (PLT), faculty, staff, students, and families, the Director will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner. The Director will champion initiatives that empower faculty and staff, inspire students, and create a community where every individual feels valued and supported.
